Prop and costume preparation:
Here are our initial costume ideas for Marlene and William.
When we tried these costumes on in preparation for our shoot we realized that we need to make them appear a little more relaxed and not obviously matching. However we wanted them to still complement each other and so we chose to really simplify by making her ware a lose festival logo white t-shirt and for William a plane white t-shirt. Them both wearing gray jeans did not work so we changed Marlene into black worn jeans. We then decided to make them both wear worn leather short boots. Altogether this worked really effectively they complimented each other in a relaxed and casual way.
